Weekly Yoga Flow – Jan 11, 2013

A new year always means a new beginning, a time to make resolutions, and a time to reflect. It’s also a great time to take charge of your life and make the changes you’ve always wanted to do, and to say Yes I Can!

For me, I will take a dancing class, whether it be belly dancing or lyrical, relax my shoulders in stressful situations, and not to sleep on my belly in order to maintain a healthy spine. I will also continue to eat healthy and exercise routinely.

So let’s all start the New Year with an open heart and an open mind!

  1. Easy sitting pose and deep breaths
  2. Cat/Cow
  3. Downward Facing Dog
  4. Vinyasa Flow x 2
  5.  Repeat for both sides: 1) 3 Legged Dog 2) Warrior I 3) Warrior 3 4) Standing Splits 5) Half Moon 6) Fold and Half way up 7) Rag doll up 8) Tree 9) Eagle
  6. Vinyasa Flow
  7. Child’s Pose
  8. Seated Full Forward Fold
  9. Lye down
  10. Bridge
  11. Shoulder stand
  12. Reclining Butterfly
  13. Two Knee Twist
  14. Happy Baby Pose
  15. Shavasana and Closing
