Thanks to my friend Trista, who is visiting Vancouver with her hubby, we visited Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden and the Vancouver Aquarium today.
The tour in the garden was very interesting, especially knowing that all of it was built from scratch without any modern materials or tools, taking 13 months and 52 skilled workers, with all of the materials shipped directly from China. Everything in the garden has its place and purpose, every stone, every flower, and every pebble, a combination of perfect yin and yang.
We also enjoyed the dolphin and otters show at the aquarium, especially the otter, super cute and cuddly, taking so long each day cleaning and grooming itself! The 4D movie was also very interesting and realistic, with water splashing in my face and bubble blowing just like under the sea.
It was so great to be able to explore Vancouver again like two tourists I hope to explore even more before I leave : )
